Full time - Support Workers £11.44 per hour (£12.44 enhanced Sunday rate)
We are looking for full and part time support workers to join our growing support team.
Care in Style Ltd is a successful and growing organisation with six homes within Westcliff-on-Sea. We provide care and support to adults with learning disabilities.
We are a dynamic service provider, offering first class support to help people lead independent and fulfilling lives not just within their home, but also out in the community. Our service users are active and are looking for people who will help them get out and about and join them to do their activities every day, for example:
- Going to the gym, swimming or exercise classes.
- Going shopping in town and shopping malls.
- Trampolining.
- Joining in bike riding classes.
- Walking in the park and the sea front.
- Doing art projects.
- Cooking and baking for the home and sometimes community events.
- Charity and fundraising events.
- Visiting the fair, fun days or craft fairs.
- Home based Zumba classes, yoga and relaxation.
- Home based Zumba classes, yoga and relaxation.
Alongside an active role, you will also assist service users to manage their personal care and help them to manage their day to day lives.
The role is a shift work position with mornings, afternoons and evenings available. Some weekend work is required on a rota basis.
A level 2 in Health and Social Care is desirable but not essential as we operate a comprehensive staff development scheme, enabling you to grow your position within the company.
